These terms apply to GolfSimPicker, a free planning tool run by GolfSimPicker in Illinois, USA. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

You make the final check. A plan from this site is an estimate. Before you buy or build anything, measure your room yourself and confirm every size and specification with the maker or retailer.

What the site is

GolfSimPicker helps you think through whether golf simulator gear fits a room. It uses typical rules of thumb, such as ball-flight heights, swing room and miss zones, which are estimates and not measurements of your ball, your swing or your room. It is not professional design, engineering, electrical, structural or safety advice, and a result of "OK" is not a guarantee that something is safe or will work.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for checking the plan against your real room and for what you decide to buy, build, mount or hit.
Hitting golf balls indoors can damage property and hurt people. Use judgement and proper protection, and follow the manufacturers' instructions and any building rules that apply to you.

Information from other companies

Product sizes, specifications and prices come from retailer and manufacturer pages and change. They may be out of date or wrong. Product names and logos belong to their owners. Where an estimate replaces a published number, the site says so. GolfSimPicker is independent and is not owned, run or endorsed by PlayBetter or any maker.

Affiliate links

Some links, including the "View at PlayBetter" buttons, are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commission does not change what the planner checks, recommends or flags, or the order of results. Your purchase is a contract between you and the store.

Using the site

Use it for your own planning. Do not copy it wholesale, overload it, or try to break or probe its security.
The site, its text, drawings and code are owned by GolfSimPicker unless marked otherwise. You may share links and layout codes freely.

No warranty and limits on liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, GolfSimPicker is not liable for any loss, damage or injury, or for the cost of anything you buy or build, that arises from using the site or relying on its estimates. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

If you misuse the site

You agree to indemnify GolfSimPicker (that is, to cover reasonable losses and legal costs) for a third-party claim that comes from your own misuse of the site: using it unlawfully, breaking these terms, or using it to harm or infringe the rights of someone else, for example by uploading a floor plan or other file you have no right to use. This does not apply to a claim that arises only because you used the planner's estimates in good faith, which is covered by the limits above, and it does not apply where the law does not allow it. We will tell you about a claim promptly, and you may not settle a claim in a way that binds GolfSimPicker without written consent.

Changes, law and contact

We may change the site or these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site afterwards means you accept the change. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Questions: [email protected].
