GolfSimPicker

Find out it won’t fit before you buy it.

A golf simulator room is a big investment with a lot of parts that depend on each other. GolfSimPicker draws your room to scale and checks your gear, your swing and your furniture against it, so you spend with confidence.

No account. Nothing to install. Takes a couple of minutes.

  • A beam is too low over the swing8'-0" is under the 9'-6" a 6 ft golfer needs for a driver.
  • Ball to screen10'-0" meets the 10'-0" preferred distance.
An example of what the planner shows. Your room, your gear, your numbers.

The expensive way to find out

A launch monitor, a projector, a screen or enclosure, a hitting mat, a PC, the room work and the furniture add up fast. Every one of them has its own space rules, and they all depend on each other.

Most of those rules are scattered across retailer pages and forum threads. Miss one and you learn about it after the money is spent.

The ceiling is too low for a full swing.A 6 ft golfer needs about 9½ ft of clear height for a driver, and a beam or duct lowers it right where you stand.
The launch monitor needs more room than you have. Each one has its own minimum distance to the screen and space behind the ball.
The projector can’t reach the screen, or your shadow lands on it.Throw distance, mount height and where you stand all have to agree.
The left-hander’s swing hits the wall. Two golfers means two swing zones, two heights and sometimes a monitor that has to move.

How it works

  1. Answer a few questions

Room size, ceiling, who swings and how tall, budget. Anything you don’t know gets a cautious default, and you can skip straight to the full planner at any point.

  2. See your room to scale

A suggested launch monitor, screen and projector are placed in a drawing of your room, with every check listed beside it.

  3. Change anything

Swap gear, drag furniture, turn it, add a bar. Save a code or share a link when it works.

Sources, and honest gaps

Sizes and rules come from manufacturer and retailer pages. Where a number is an estimate, the planner says so.
